Adult Cardiologist & Advanced Cardiac Imaging Specialist
Dr Matthew Zada is a specialist adult cardiologist with a strong academic and clinical background, and subspecialty expertise in advanced cardiac imaging. He completed his medical training at the University of Sydney, obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery and a Bachelor of Medical Science, graduating with First Class Honours and the University Medal.
Dr Zada completed his specialist physician training and cardiology training at Westmead Hospital. He subsequently undertook a fellowship at the Advanced Cardiac Imaging Centre at St Vincent’s Hospital, where he developed subspecialty expertise in cardiac CT and MRI.
He holds a Master of Philosophy (Medicine) from the University of Sydney, with research focused on infiltrative cardiomyopathies including amyloidosis, Fabry disease, and sarcoidosis. His work has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, and he has presented at national and international scientific meetings. He continues to contribute actively to the medical literature, particularly in echocardiography, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI.
Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Zada is committed to teaching and education. He is a Clinical Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney and regularly tutors medical students and physician trainees.
He is dedicated to providing patient-centred, evidence-based care, with particular expertise in cardiac imaging, cardiomyopathy, and complex diagnostic evaluation.
